NFL Head Coach 09 has a fun way of trying to sign players in that you have to offer them a package. I would say that the majority of what you do in this game takes place not on the field, but off it. Hiring staff, using draft picks, signing free agents, making trades, organizing training camps and more are all here. This is not just about picking a team and then a few plays and watching it unfold. Everything that happens is in your control. If you ask me this is the kind of game that is aimed that those who are very nerdy about their football. I would say that after five to ten minutes, you will be a pro at navigating all of the menus. The coaches clipboard is where most of your options are and the menus are very easy to get through and figure out. The way the game is presented is pretty cool. What is on offer here in NFL Head Coach 09 is your typical EA Sports level of high-polish. The frame rate when you are watching the action of the field can sometimes suffer, but apart from that. It is very authentic in its presentation. You'll need to manually approve it with your windows defender.All 32 teams and all 32 stadiums are in the game. But, it's made with a program that works the same way viruses work, changing internal (game) files, so your PC might automatically delete it as a precaution. When you download the program your it will pass your antivirus, it's 100% clean trust me. This for me makes a more realistic game with no high scoring. So you can lower or higher.įinally my sliders for offense and defense (I leave special teams default) these sliders for both you and cpu opposition. But I have left that on default which starts about half way. You can change injury frequency and severity too, for both you and opposition.

This game didn't come with the madden settings or sliders so this slider mod was made to cure that. So you can change numerous things with the sliders. I played a 15 minute quarter (my sliders below) I was the Lions playing against the Jets. I recommend these configurations ĪS mentioned by THERAREBUTTER the sliders are a must and fantastic.
